PURPOSE/FUNCTION:
Reproduction system is the basis for continuity of life on earth. Only a healthy reproductive system with controlled population can lead to future generations. It consists of a number of internal and external organs (based on sex) for producing sex hormones, and fertilization.
MAJOR COMPONENTS:
They differ based on the sex as:
- MALE:

male reproduction system
- FEMALE

female reproduction system

MAJOR DISEASES:
While some are common but some are sex specific.

Common diseases are the ones like infertility. Sex specific diseases are:
- MALE specific reproductive system diseases:

Hypospadias

Hydrocele 

Varicocele 

Cryptorchidism 

Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH)

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
- FEMALE specific reproductive system diseases:

Endometriosis

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)

Prolapsed uterus
